My name is Jesutofunmi and I’m an impact-driven, value-oriented problem solver.

Two experiences from my childhood stand out: first is the fact that I used to create templates to track the numerous assignments and assessments we got from school to ensure that my friends and I stayed on top of them. The second is the fact that I used to buy pens in bulk to re-sell to my classmates so they didn’t have to leave the class to buy a pen outside while a teacher was teaching. Since I was a kid, I've had a desire to make people’s lives easier. Now as a professional, being at the helm of crafting products has been one of the most fulfilling ways I’ve achieved that goal.

Coming from a technical background as a mobile software engineer and a graduate of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, I know what it takes to build high-quality, stable and scalable tech products and owing to my experience with UX design as well, I have a keen eye for design and details. Combined, these ensure that users of my products have the best possible experience that keeps them coming back. It also means I can relate more with designers and developers that I work with.

Outside of tech and work, I love music - classical and contemporary. I play the violin and I’m now learning to play the piano. I write about general lifestyle, career and productivity on my Substack, and about building products (and other work stuff) on my Medium. I’m also big on journaling
